An account of electromagnetic and temperature fields by a finite element method
The features of mathematical description of electromagnetic and temperature fields in
continuous media are considered in this manual. The fundamentals of a finite element method, one
of the most effective modern numerical methods of solution of engineering and physical problems are stated here.
The solution technique of problems of different types of fields (electrostatic, magnetic and temperature fields)
calculating in homogeneous, nonhomogeneous linear and nonlinear isotropic media by a finite element method is represented.
The examples of solution of proper engineering problems are proposed.
The manual is recommended for the students of specialities: "Microsystem Engineering" (201900) and "Electronic
Devices and Systems" (200300). It can be used for studying the disciplines: "Microsystem Design",
"Mathematical Models and SAD of Electronic Devices and Systems", and also for the fulfillment of the course and degree
projects. The manual can be useful for the students of other specialities too. Tab. 2. Fig. 15. Bibl.: 50.
